On April 18th, Léman International School Chengdu hosted a grand English-style afternoon tea party to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Over 600 attendees—including students, staff, parents, Chengdu Education Bureau leaders, Nord Anglia representatives, and foreign consuls—gathered for the occasion. Principal Tracy Connor opened with a heartfelt speech, reflecting on Léman’s achievements and introducing Ruby, the school’s new red panda mascot. Dr. Terry Creissen, the China Regional Managing Director of Nord Anglia Education,acknowledged the important roleof Lémanwithin the Nord Anglia family. The Austrian Consul Günther Lazelsberger commended its forward-thinking education. Year 12 student Olivia shared her inspiring Léman journey. Student musical performances and a lively band brought joy to the event, alongside an awards ceremony honoring long-serving staff. The celebration concluded with a toast by Principal TracyConnor, the Class of 2025, and distinguished guests, raising their glasses to 15 remarkable years and a bright future ahead!
